Born and raised in Los Angeles, Louie's written and directed content for brands such as Hyundai and the NBA Summer League while also collaborating closely with local businesses across Los Angeles to grow their marketing and social media platforms. While studying at UCLA’s School of Theatre, Film & Television, Louie directed several shorts that screened at festivals like Campus Movie Fest and Canon’s Student Shorts Night. Since pursuing his MFA in Directing from Chapman University, Louie has distinguished himself amongst peers and faculty, who selected his latest film as one of two student works to screen for Academy Award nominee Fernando Meirelles during his on campus residency. Using a unique blend of humor, vintage flare and social critique, Louie tells stories about characters overcoming narrow mindedness and egotism within the absurdity of contemporary life.
